You Won't Find Rob Gronkowski in the Film Room

Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski is not much of a film watcher. This might come as shock to many, but he confirmed as much during last night's "ManningCast" of the Packers and Lions Monday night game.

Eli Manning asked the 32-year-old what he looks for in watching film. Many of us might have been looking for an elaborate answer on coverages, but we got something even better.

It's confirmed. Not only was Tom Brady made in a lab, but so was Gronkowski. It makes you wonder how Brady, the most meticulous film student, has made it work with Gronkowski for over a decade. I mean, 88 touchdown connections between the two speak for themselves.

Gronkowski still gets some help from film by proxy, as he said he leans on Brady for the game plan going into every game.

"I do go up to Tom because I know Tom watches, like, I don't know, 40 hours of film a week, and go, 'Tom, who is covering me, and what type of coverages are they doing?'" Gronkowski said.

Of course, it wouldn't be a Gronkowski segment without his WWE schtick making an appearance. "Red Zone Robby G" was born last night, and it's pure comedy.
