Will Candace Owens Actually Take Legal Action Against Cardi B? Owens Says Yes

Candace Owens wasn't just blowing smoke. She really does plan to sue Cardi B following their well-publicized Twitter bout, which lasted about half a workday Tuesday.

Owens made it clear to Cardi B during the heated exchange that she plans to sue after Cardi B used a photoshopped tweet to imply that Owens' husband cheated on her with her own brother.

Owens said she reached the lawsuit decision after speaking with her family.

"I am 100% suing Cardi for that nonsense," Owens wrote. "You can’t just start throwing out wild lies against private members of my family because you’re upset someone called your out on your degenerate performance."

Cardi B took great offense to Owens calling her out for what was widely considered a trashy performance at the Grammys.

"We can fix black culture. We can't do it if we keep pretending it's not broken," Owens wrote. "That performance was disgusting. Let's start by calling a spade a spade."

Things took off from there, with the feud lasting several hours and Owens refusing to back down from her stance on the importance of celebrities setting a positive example. You can check out the entire exchange right here.

Beyond that, Owens made two promises. First, she will indeed sue Cardi B. Second, that she'll "keep you all posted."
