Wide Out A.J. Green Talks About Final Possible Game With Bengals

When the Cincinnati Bengals play at home against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, it could be an emotional goodbye for a longtime Bengals receiver.

A. J. Green, who has been with the Bengals since they drafted him fourth overall back in the 2011 NFL Draft, is slated to be a free agent after the season, and it might be time for him to move on and continue his career elsewhere.

"Anything is possible," Green said to reporters Thursday when asked about his future.

Green has had a stellar career with the Bengals over 10 seasons, pulling in 649 passes for 9430 yards and 65 touchdowns.

He's seen a lot of good and bad over his tenure with the Bengals, and he chose to take the high road on Thursday and look on the bright side.

"If this is my last game, I had an unbelievable 10 years here," he said.

What happens with Green now is anyone's guess. He's been a third wide out this year, making just 47 catches for 523 yards and two scores.

He is being paid a lot more than a third wide out should, as he inked a one-year deal worth $18.1 million prior to the season.

That type of money won't be there in 2021, no matter where Green ends up. If he goes into free agency, he could be in for a rude awakening.
