Sunday Night Football’s NFC East matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Football Team wasted no time becoming a one-sided contest.
Up 28-7 in the second quarter — en route to a 56-point performance — the Cowboys were marching down the field on Washington’s defense and letting the game fade away before halftime. Two staples of the Washington defensive line, 2021 Pro Bowl selection Jonathan Allen and defensive tackle Daron Paye, grew frustrated by the bad execution to start the game and were found at the center of a scuffle on the sideline.
A flying punch from the 265-lb Allen on a prodding Daron Payne sparked teammates to separate the two — former teammates at Alabama, as mentioned in the telecast.
Things didn’t relent from there. Dallas reached 49 points by the end of the third quarter. Fortunately, Payne and Allen managed to continue lining up side-by-side to finish the contest.
Washington anticipates a 6-9 record after Week 16, second-worst in the NFC East ahead of the New York Giants.

Go beat on some Cowboys! Take out your anger on the opponent. I gave up on the Redskins years ago because of this stupidity. It doesn’t matter who the coach is, they always make excuses and have to depend on other teams to lose to make the playoffs.
It was an argument over the new Washington team mascot, Giant Douche or Turd Sandwich.
