At hole 13 for the WGC-Dell Technology Match Play, Jordan Spieth sliced a tee shot that ended up on the green of hole 15. We’ve all done this before, but we’re also not paid to golf.
Spieth’s also playing lights out this year, so we can have a laugh.
Watch:
You don’t see this every day. 👀@JordanSpieth‘s drive on the 13th hole bounced off the cart path and rolled passed Patrick Cantlay as he was putting …

What’s funny is that Spieth’s lie ain’t so bad! Most of us go 200 yards right like this and end up under a tree or behind a rock. Almost killed a patron in the process, too. Could you imagine being held away from watching the PGA Tour live and being struck by a stray golf ball off the club face of the hottest golfer (golf wise) on the planet your first event back?
And what are the odds Patrick Cantlay says he noticed Speith’s ball behind him on that birdie putt? Not a chance he did. I’ll start the odds at -300.
Maybe he should call Eldrick for advice
That was a Gerald Ford shot!
