Watch: Bryson DeChambeau Blasts Insane 400+ Yard Drive

While the rest of us were playing our power fades 265 in front of unimpressed cart girls, Bryson DeChambeau spends his time hitting 430 yard drives.

Seriously, it’s not fair.

Sure, it was downhill, but who plays a fade 400 yards? Probably helps that Bryson decided to put on 30 pounds of muscle last offseason and currently looks like he plays defensive end for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Half of the golf world can’t stand that this guy dominates the golf ball to Tour wins, but he honestly deserves it. He’s put in the work that literally none of us (Tour guys included) are willing to put in.

Worth noting, Bryson DeChambeau might be the worst double date partner to Top Golf, ever. Talk about getting shown up…

  1. I have to say Im not sure why everyone is so enamored with this guy. Yeah he put on a ton of muscle yeah he hits the ball a mile, but if you cant score then who cares. Hes currently tied for 16th at the tournament today. Hes won 7 times on the tour including an open but he is in no way shape or form the best player on the tour. Look at Morakawa. That kid hits it forever but can chip, and putt, and put himself in great spots to score. He has a PGA and I expect even more from him. Meanwhile everyone on the tour is acting like Bryson is changing the game. Lets not forget his bravado about how par for him at the masters was 68. He fell apart because he couldnt hit his driver straight. As the old saying goes drive for show putt for dough. Hes currently behind a aggie who hasnt won without a partner in 11 years. Bryson is a one trick pony (no pun intended he went to SMU) scrambling all day because you launch your driver a billion yards into the shit aint fun. Trust me its my golf game minus the hitting it a billion yards part. Maybe Im just a stick in the mud but while impressive its not that big of a game changer IMHO. I expect to see him on the long drive circuit as well as the PGA tour.
