US Spy Director Admits Recent UFO Sightings Can't Be Explained

Alien life forms may not yet be among us, but U.S. Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines is beginning to wonder if they may not be in the sky.

Haines recently spoke at the "Our Future in Space" event at the Washington National Cathedral and indicated that UFO buzzing warships being reported by American pilots could be of alien origin.

Granted, it's easy to think aliens are already here, given how some U.S. citizens operate their vehicles, but per Haines, the UFOs appear to be driven by something else -- something unidentified.

"The main issues that Congress and others have been concerned about is safety of flight concerns and counterintelligence issues," Haines told the forum. "Always there’s also the question of 'is there something else that we simply do not understand, which might come extraterrestrially?'"

Haines oversees all 16 American spy agencies, including the FBI and CIA. So these aren't the words of someone who's lacking experience in this field. Quite the opposite.

When she speaks, Americans listen. And perhaps those in other galaxies do too.
