Urban Meyer Officially Hired By Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars have officially named former Buckeye Urban Meyer as their next head coach. Coulda' sworn he said he was "likely done" coaching, but now that the Jags look to be grabbing Trevor Lawrence no. 1 overall, we can see why he changed his mind.

Welcome back, Urban.

ESPN's Adam Schefter tweeted out the official statement from Jaguars' owner Shad Khan to welcome their new head coach:

Meyer was 187-32 in his college coaching career and 12-3 in bowl games, which is impressive, but the NFL is a whole different ballgame. Will the former Buckeyes coach be able to lead Trevor Lawrence and a 53-man NFL roster? We're about to find out.
