Best KO From UFC Vegas 34 Is A Face Full Of Foot

Ignacio 'Nacho' Bahamondes (12-4 MMA, 1-1 UFC) picked up his first UFC win with a stunning wheel kick to the chin against Roosevelt 'The Predator' Roberts (10-3 MMA, 3-3 UFC) on Saturday night.

The prelim fight, part of UFC Vegas 34, between Bahamondes and Roberts produced a moment worthy of endless replays and contender for Knockout of the Year — also stealing the spotlight from the main event between Jared Cannonier (14-5 MMA, 7-5 UFC) and Kelvin Gastelum (16-8 MMA, 11-8 UFC).

Nacho and Roberts nearly lasted a full three rounds until the Chilean combatant spotted an opportunity in the final ten seconds of the fight to pull out a familiar move from his bag of tricks.

Roberts was pinned against the cage, until he peeled away with hopes to walk off the dwindling clock in the final round. What the fighter didn't realize was a healthy amount of space between him and Bahamondes that left Roberts susceptible to receiving a final spinning wheel kick. Nacho connected with Roberts' face, dropping him stiff to the ground and driving the night's commentators insane — quickly wrapping up the lightweight bout instead of waiting on a decision.

Trading strikes for the majority of the fight, Bahamondes appeared to have a slight edge over Roberts as the two fighters drew closer to a decision. Despite absorbing some hard hits from The Predator, Bahamondes' combo of spinning kicks and punches throughout the night showcased polished technique that warmed the audience up for the night's ice-cold knockout.

Bahamondes' wheel kick was rightfully crowned as the Performance of the Night, earning Bahamondes an extra $50,000 in earnings from his win.
