What did we learn last night from Cardinals-Seahawks?
The Seahawks defense is either getting much better or the Cardinals just aren’t ready to take that next step. The Hawks defense is giving up an NFL-worst average of 434.9 total yards per game. Last night, Seattle allowed the Cardinals to rack up only 314 total yards, including just 57 on the ground. As for their remaining schedule, Seattle faces just one more team with a record over .500, the Rams. The Jets, Football Team, Giants, Eagles and 49ers are still to come.
If the Seahawks keep this up to finish the season, Russell Wilson is your NFL MVP. No question. For him to do what he’s doing with the NFL’s worst defense behind him is remarkable. There’s no room for error because that defense isn’t bailing him out, and yet here is Seattle with the chance to win out and finish 13-3. Wilson leads the league with 30 touchdown passes through 10 games. He also leads the league in completions, passing yards and touchdown-to-completion percentage. Peyton Manning holds the single-season touchdown record with 55.
• I hear there was some big recruiting news last night out of Texas. Poor Tom Herman and Jim Harbaugh. More on that news after I finish Screencaps.
• How big is the App State-Coastal Carolina game? The cheapest seat on Vivid Seats is $167. Nope, never thought Coastal Carolina would have one of the hottest tickets on the secondary market. Have you looked at the market for Auburn-Alabama tickets? There’s nothing under $300 for the November 28 game.
• We’re officially getting a Conor McGregor fight on January 23. Now the big question is whether Dana White gives McGregor what he wants, and that’s for the fight to take place at Jerry World. The Cowboys owner says he wants to start allowing more than 31,000 into football games. Dana and Jerry love money. This could be a marriage.

For the second straight matchup, Patrick Peterson shadowed DK Metcalf.

Good job on following up the “Michigan” answer with the picture proof that Michigan, while not widely known, has the ocean a part of its border.
