Tony Dungy will call Notre Dame football games this season for NBC. Dungy is replacing Doug Flutie alongside play-by-play broadcaster Mike Tirico.
Dungy works with Tirico each Sunday night on Football Night in America.
On select weeks, Flutie will be used on pregame, halftime, and postgame with host Jac Collinsworth.
NBC’s coverage of Notre Dame football resumes Sat., Sept. 12, at 2:30 p.m. ET in a matchup against Duke.

WAYYYY COOL…gives Coach Dungy some game analysis reps, and with Mike Tirico in the booth it will be smooth sailing…with some good banter…talk about out kicking the coverage for sure!!!
Lifelong ND fan…lol…don’t hate me.
why would anyone have to hate you??!!…just kidding if you want to form a support group i’m on board
Tony Dungy a good man great to hear
Love this move. I’m not a Flutie-hater, but Dungy-Tirico is a great combo. Go Irish!
I must be an extreme outlier. I think Dungy is terrible on TV. Incredibly boring.
