Titans Organization Now Has 16 COVID Positive Cases

The positive tests just keep coming for the Tennessee Titans, whose game Sunday against the Steelers was postponed as both teams will now get the weekend off as a bye week and the teams will now play in Week 7.

Adam Schefter reported Saturday morning that there have been three more positive cases inside the organization to bring the running total to 16 -- 8 players and eight staff members.

Meanwhile, in Minnesota where the Titans played last Sunday, there were no positive cases this morning, according to Schefter's sources. "The Vikings continue to be unaffected by last week's game...so it appears the virus hasn't yet crossed the line of scrimmage," Schefter tweeted.

"Ideally this is the end of it, or close," ESPN's Dan Graziano tweeted about the Vikings and concerns the Titans could've spread the virus during Sunday's game.

The Titans are scheduled to host the Bills in Week 5. "League hopeful Titans positives taper off by weekend," ESPN's Jeremy Fowler said Friday. It's unclear when the NFL would decide what to do with the Week 5 game. Fowler reports the league wants to avoid end of the season makeup games "when possible."
