There Are 9.3 Million Open Jobs...The Most Ever!

Is your state still pumping out pandemic unemployment benefits while Biden Bucks fly out the window? Is your favorite restaurant closed due to a lack of workers? Is your favorite amusement park running reduced days of service because it can't find workers? It might be time to pull back those bennies that have people on their couches, you bum politicians.

There were officially 9.3 million job openings across this country, which smashed the previous all-time record of 8.3 million set in March 2021. We're talking about job opening numbers that haven't been seen since 2000.

What's causing people not to snap up those jobs? CNBC reports that "child care issues, ongoing fears about the pandemic and the lure of enhanced unemployment benefits has kept the unemployment rolls at 9.3 million, about 3.6 million higher than pre-pandemic," as the cause for record job openings and nobody to fill the positions.

Red states have cut the $300 weekly federal unemployment benefits while some states out there are allowing their citizens to continue to suck from the federal teat as Biden's Bucks won't end for another 90 days. As of late last week, 25 states remain on the teat.

“Long-term unemployment is higher than when the pandemic started, and labor force participation mirrors the stagnant 1970s,” Representative Kevin Brady of Texas said about the labor shortage situation. “It’s time for President Biden to abandon his attack on American jobs, his tax increases, his anti-growth regulations and his obsession with more emergency spending and endless government checks.”
