The Yankees Are Collapsing After Another Devastating Loss To The God Awful Orioles

The Yankees just lost 8-7 for back-to-back heartbreakers against the god awful Baltimore Orioles, which has made us realize they've got their feet down hard on the collapse pedal.

Just when we thought they were back after winning 13 straight games, they stink again.

In this collapse, everyone shares some responsibility: Brian Cashman as the head honcho who traded for Andrew Heaney, perhaps the worst pitcher in the league; Aaron Boone, who continues to put his players in position to fail; and then the players, who lack any ability to execute.

Scoring and winning go hand in hand, but oddly enough the Yankees decided now is the time to go ice cold against the worst team in the American League. Baltimore has won 43 FREAKING GAMES and six of them (13%) have come against the Yankees, who are actually taking the season seriously with a $200 million payroll.

How do you give up eight runs to the Baltimore Orioles? The Orioles -- and I'm not even being sarcastic here -- are trying to lose games to pile up draft picks. Losing is part of their mission, and the only thing that can stop their effort to lose for picks is the 2021 New York Yankees.

The Yankees are a total embarrassment who now have zero chance to win the division over the surging Rays and are now just a half game ahead to host the American League wild card. They're lucky Boston and Oakland lost today...
