The Eagles Are Asking For A Second-Round Pick For All-Pro Fletcher Cox

The Eagles are apparently shopping Fletcher Cox and are looking for a second-round pick. Their only snag here is that they'll still owe him $51.8 million if he's dealt.

It's going to take a HAUL to pry the All-Pro away from Philly.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport mentioned Fletcher Cox as a "name to watch" ahead of today's 4 p.m. ET trade deadline.

"Fletcher Cox, maybe a little bit more unlikely the big named Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle—due a bunch of money, but the Eagles have certainly gotten calls on him," Rapoport said. "They're going to hold out on him for a high pick, so maybe this is not something that is likely, but obviously another one that we are going to watch."

Most NFL talent, especially on a 3-5 team that talks about trying to get better every week, is tradable. Eagles GM Howie Roseman would likely rather hang on to the Eagles legend, however if dealing Fletcher Cox better positions this team to find a star quarterback, they just might take that opportunity.

Teams are calling as we speak...
