Texans And GM Nick Caserio Agree On A Six-Year Contract

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Houston Texans and new GM Nick Caserio have agreed on a six-year contract. The deal makes him the third-highest paid GM in the league.

Good grief.

Not sure what warranted this deal, but the Texans seem to have plenty of faith in Caserio. Twitter's reaction, for whatever that's worth, can't stand the contract. Right now, he's being given big bucks to clean up Bill O'Brien's mess.

The silver lining is that Nick Caserio can't be worse than O'Brien, can he? We wish him luck.
