Sydney Sweeney’s Flat Stomach & Micromini Skirt Triggers The Wokes

Just when you thought it was safe for all women of all sizes to show off their bodies — remember how we were supposed to cheer for Lizzo’s giant ass at a Lakers game? — along comes 24-year-old actress Sydney Sweeney and her MTV Movie Awards attire.

It turns out Sweeney’s micromini skirt and half-shirt throwback to better times in pop culture has triggered the wokes so much that Yahoo! claims that micromini “feels like a threat to body positivity” movement.

That’s right, the wokes would be happier if Sydney, who plays Cassie Howard in HBO’s Euphoria and The White Lotus, were a huge fat ass who put on 200-plus pounds to shake her ass at a Lakers game.

“While the low-rise trend has already been seeing a resurgence, the red carpet moment is triggering a response from people who’d like to leave it in the past,” Yahoo blogger Kerry Justich writes.

Citing an Instagram post where the wokes were up in arms over Sydney’s attire, Justich laid out the claims of this being a triggering offense.

“No shade to beautiful Sydney… but I’m sad we’re seeing more of this ULTRA low rise waist and ULTRA flat tummy look again,” one person wrote on the Instagram post. “So coveted yet unachievable for so many of us with different builds.”

Solution: don’t try wearing it.

“Watch body positivity go down the drain once the low rise fashion takes over again,” and “Low rise NEVER AGAIIIN! Young generations: learn from the pst!! Don’t ruin your body!!!” two wokes wrote.

Ah yes, they should hammer late-night pizza and booze and become massive pigs instead.

It turns out the micromini and wokes were at war before Sweeney’s aggressive behavior at the MTV Awards.

“A lot of it, too, feels very glorifying of a body type that we’ve been working against actively for many years now. The body type is very reminiscent of the early 2000s, when we had all these big conversations around anorexia and fashion and bulimia and how these models were treated back in the day, which is not great. And for a lot of people it feels kind of triggering,” a plus-sized activist told Yahoo for a previous story on the micro.

Sounds like some body shaming to me. You wokes need to clean up your acts and stop bullying these women for wearing clothing that they feel sexy in. We weren’t allowed to say Lizzo looked like a blimp at the Lakers game. You need to stop picking on Sydney and her micromini.

You stay in your lane. Sydney will stay in hers.

  1. I’m married to a woman who is naturally slender. She would actually like to gain a little weight, but literally cannot, no matter how hard she tries. Her doctor is working with her on some different approaches to try to gain some weight. (Whatever I’m doing so successfully has not worked for her!) You would not believe the things people say to her in public: “Oh, you’re setting such a bad example for your daughters, starving yourself like that.” This is not a woman who wears micro-minis, either – she dresses very modestly, and is horrified when people – usually other women – judge her without knowing anything at all about her.

    • Dude, my wife gets the same shit. It’s like the whole world is scared to death of fat-asses, but feel they have free-range to say whatever to my wife (5-9 120 lbs at age 48 after 2 kids). Most of her clothes are now bought on-line and ALL of her bras/panties/slips come from online because not even Victoria’s Secret has her size — and you damn-sure ain’t gonna find it a Target or Belk’s, but they both will have PLENTY of 48E bras.

“That’s such a cute dress, I wish they had it in my size…” became such a common saying, she bought a sewing machine and learned to do a pretty good job of hacking down the circus tents to something she can wear…

    • Exactly. If Sydney came out of the closet wearing purple hair with 85 piercings and tats the left would love her. Alas, she is white, straight and blessed with a great figure, oh the horror!

  2. I’ll take the way Sydney looks over these disgusting fat broads any day. And all men do as well. It’s only the slobs that complain about body shaming because, well, they are undisciplined slobs.

  3. “So coveted yet unachievable for so many of us with different builds”

Love them using the word “unachievable” in this sentence as if it’s completely impossible to not eat a half dozen donuts per day. Having a flat stomach is very achievable. In fact, it’s one of the few things you can achieve without having to do anything at all. Just don’t eat as much.

  4. Yes, bring back normal attire for the young hotties. Nowadays we only get skin from the likes of Madonna and Britney Spears chasing their younger selves. Attractive girls now wear nose rings, unnatural hair color, buzzed on one side, drab saggy clothes. Better not excite those toxically masculine guys.

You go Sydney, keep men interested in your career too.

  5. I guess I just grew-up in the Deep South in the 80’s where every girl KNEW she had to compete with Daisy Duke and Cheryl Tiegs. And they did a DAMN good job if it! God really did bless us Goo ol’ Boys who were at Panama City Beach in May/June of 1987, 88 and/or 89!!!
