Star-studded Nets Add Another Former All-Star

Paul Millsap has signed with the Brooklyn Nets, according to Yahoo's Shams Charania. So Kevin Durant, James Harden and Kyrie Irving will now have a bench to work with. Great.

Barring injury, the rest of the league may as well lie down -- you don't stand a CHANCE.

The four-time All-Star was reportedly considering joining the Bulls and Clippers, yet he decided now was the time for a title run. And who could blame the guy? Millsap is entering his 16th season, after all. He also won't be asked to do a ton off the bench as the team already somehow reeled in veteran guard Patty Mills this off season.

Not only is Patty Mills on board, but reliable midrange sniper LaMarcus Aldridge was just cleared this week after retiring with an irregular heartbeat. Now basketball analysts anticipate his return.

The Brooklyn Nets, if healthy, will threaten the Warriors' 73-win season. They're the overwhelming favorites to come out of the East and annihilate whoever stands in their way out West. Paul Millsap is a defensive minded forward who can put the ball in the basket, and that's pretty much all Kevin Durant needs. A little breather here and there.

The team's newly acquired depth lowers the margin for error by the day. Brooklyn may actually be able to withstand an injury or two next year.

Scary what they've become.
