Spring Game For Alabama Draws Post Covid Record Crowd Of Over 47,000

It was a banner day for the Alabama Crimson Tide, as over 47,000 fans made their way to Bryant-Denny Stadium for the team's spring game.

The day has to be considered historic as it's the most amount of fans at a sporting event in the United States since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The exact attendance announced by the program was 47,218.

The Crimson Tide are not the only sports team in the United States to allow fans, as every Major League Baseball team is allowing fans into stadiums at the moment.

Right now the most attended game in Major League Baseball this season was the opener for the Texas Rangers, which drew 38,238 fans.

Bryant-Denny Stadium can host a whopping 101,821 fans, still less than half of what was on hand for the spring game Saturday.

The program did not call the event a sellout as tickets were still available for fans.

The state of Alabama is one of the few of the 50 that no longer require people to wear masks in public places.

People are strongly encouraged to still wear masks under the 'Safer Apart Order.'
