Young, Native American Chiefs Fan Suing Deadspin Shows Up To Super Bowl In Face Paint, Headdress

The young, Native American Chiefs fan whose family is suing the website Deadspin for defamation is in attendance for the Super Bowl. The Kansas City kid, Holden Armenta, gained national attention when Deadspin called him "racist" for wearing "blackface." 

However, Deadspin neglected to show both sides of Armenta's face, which proved that he had half of his face painted black and half painted red. He was clearly wearing the paint in support of the Kansas City Chiefs, who have both colors as part of their team color scheme. 

He was also wearing a native headdress, which Deadspin also deemed "racist." What the site didn't know, however, is that Armenta and his family are Native American. It seems pretty tough for him to be racist against the group to which he belongs, but that's America in 2024.

Because Deadspin refused to correct their article or issue an apology, Arementa's family secured legal counsel and are suing the website for defamation. 

Now that the whole story is out there, though, Armenta and his family aren't letting Deadspin – a website that used to have value but has since devolved into nothing more than yet another hardcore left-wing "sports" outlet – change the way they cheer for their team. 

Armenta and his family are at the Super Bowl and are proudly wearing their face paint and native headdresses. However, Holden elected different colors this time, going with a tri-color scheme of red, white and yellow. Others in his group, though, are wearing half-black, half-red face paint. 

In a video posted to X, Armenta gives out his Super Bowl prediction: Chiefs 31, 49ers 28. 

It's great to see that the young fan isn't letting anyone determine how he shows support for his favorite football team. 

A win for free speech.
