WNBA Rookie Angel Reese Attends Met Gala In Revealing Dress On Her 22nd Birthday

It's been a big few months for Angel Reese, and she isn't ready to stop taking advantage of her celebrity status. Reese's LSU career ended with a loss in the Elite Eight to Caitlin Clark and then the Chicago Sky selected her with the 7th pick in the WNBA Draft.

After, of course, she announced her decision to declare for the WNBA Draft via a massive article in Vogue magazine

Reese made her preseason debut with the Sky on Friday. Of course, viewers couldn't watch that game on any normal platform, which led to criticism of the WNBA for not promoting Reese enough and overly promoting Clark.

Then, many people erroneously reported that "hundreds of thousands" – even some said "millions" – watched her debut on a live stream via X (formerly Twitter). These numbers were grossly exaggerated.

Still, there's no question that Angel Reese has a lot of fans out there. Not quite as many as Clark, who's a better basketball player, but plenty in her own right.

Reese has over 3 million followers on Instagram, for example. Plus, the left-wing media loves Reese because she's black and frequently talks about things like racism, misogyny and all the other buzz words that one side loves to parade around.

Angel Reese heads from a WNBA court in Minneapolis to the swanky Met Gala in New York City.

Thanks to her popularity among the left-wing elite, Angel Reese gets invites to big, exclusive parties like the Met Gala, which took place Monday. It also happened to be Reese's 22nd birthday, so she donned a revealing dress and headed out for a glitzy night out in New York City.

Reese has stated in the past that she aspires to be both a basketball player and a model, so she apparently took a break from the former to engage in the latter before the WNBA season officially gets underway.

The Sky have another preseason game on Tuesday before starting the regular season next Wednesday in Dallas against the Wings.
