Wisconsin Fans Revolt After Humiliating March Madness Loss: REACTIONS

Wisconsin Badgers fans are absolutely livid with the team after a horrible loss to James Madison.

The Dukes upset the Badgers 72-61 in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament, and as a Wisconsin man, it was very tough to watch.

It was simply embarrassing. The Badgers didn't even appear interested in playing for the first 10 minutes of the first half. It was another dud of a game coached by Greg Gard.

As expected, fans are not happy, and I absolutely don't blame them.

Wisconsin fans torch team after loss to James Madison.

Fans wasted absolutely no time before taking to social media to share their thoughts, and people aren't happy at all. Badgers supporters are in a state of open revolt.

Check out some of the reactions below, and let me know your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.

I don't blame any fan who is upset, frustrated and disappointed. How could you not be after watching the trash that was on display Friday night?

This Wisconsin team had all the talent necessary to win a lot of games and make a tournament run. Instead, the season is now over with a 22-14 record. The team's last Sweet 16 appearance was in 2017.

That was seven years ago. Seven years! If fans aren't frustrated, then they're simply not paying attention.

I have no answers of any kind for how to fix the program. None. Greg Gard isn't going to be fired. So, fans can dial it back with that hope, but something has to happen because fans deserve much better. Let me know what you think at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.

P.S.: I was going to go to New York for this game, but decided not to at the last minute. I would have been livid beyond explanation if I dropped all that money to watch what happened Friday unfold.
