Wisconsin Fans Brutally Destroy Team After Embarrassing Loss

Wisconsin fans have had enough of the garbage product on the basketball court.

The Badgers were ranked sixth in the nation at the start of February, and Greg Gard and company were firmly in the mix for a one seed in the NCAA Tournament.

Since then, the team has been on a truly unbelievable skid that includes a 2-6 record in the team's last eight games. The collapse was on full display for fans during a 74-70 Tuesday night loss to the Indiana Hoosiers.

The Badgers are now 18-10 and face a murky March Madness future after being slotted among the best teams in the country earlier this month.

Wisconsin fans unload after Indiana loss.

Well, fans cut loose on social media following the team's sixth loss in the month of February. People are livid, and it's impossible to blame them.

The collapse is nothing short of shocking, and I'm right there with them. Check out some of the reactions below, and hit me with your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.

That's just a taste of what's going around Wisconsin social media following the loss to Indiana. It'd be one thing if the Hoosiers were a good team.

They're not. Indiana is below average in the Big Ten, and it's losses like this one that will absolutely kill a team's seeding.

Losing to bad teams is also becoming the norm for a Wisconsin team that was once so dominant before a historic collapse. Wisconsin has conference losses to Penn State, Michigan, Rutgers, and now Indiana. None of those four losses are acceptable, and yet, the horrible losses just keep piling up!

Could I talk about the mysterious fire alarm that went off in Assembly Hall after Wisconsin fought back to tie the game causing a long delay? Sure, I could but I'm not going to because it's no excuse. The loss Tuesday night is simply the latest example on a growing list that the Badgers are in huge trouble. Went from sixth in America to a bubble team within the same month. A complete and total joke. Let me know at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
