Send Your Thoughts And Prayers To Travis Kelce Who Is 'Losing' A Bunch Of Money At The Super Bowl

Travis Kelce is unfortunately having to spend some money ahead of the Super Bowl and you can't help but feel bad for the guy given he has absolutely nothing going for him these days.

It's not like he's a future Hall of Famer, is in the middle of a $57 million contract, or dating the most famous woman on the face of the Earth. The man needs a break in life, and hopefully things start falling his way soon. But for now, he's having to spend some of his hard-earned Pfizer cash on Super Bowl tickets for his friends and family.

Kelce, who also has the terrible obligation of hosting one of the most popular podcasts in sports with his brother, voiced his complaint about how expensive this year's Super Bowl in Las Vegas truly is on the most recent episode of ‘New Heights.’ It sounds like part of Kelce's preparation for the big game includes him checking his bank account which has multiple commas in it on a regular basis.

"I’m not really doing much different other than just counting how much money I’m spending on this damn Super Bowl for family and friends to come. Just making sure I’m on top of those finances and losing all this money," Kelce explained.

In all seriousness, it is a little mindboggling that players participating in the Super Bowl get virtually no perks when it comes to tickets, but then again, we live in the beautiful U-S-of-A, we believe in capitalism and the free market, and we love that. The fact that some suites for the game in Vegas are going for over $2 million, well, that's nobody's problem but the person who spends the money on them.

As I myself am about as cheap as they come, I can somewhat see where Kelce is coming from, but his use of the phrase "losing all this money" is where he loses me.

You're not "losing" money, Mr. Swift, you're getting your friends and family to come to what could be your last Super Bowl. Not only could it be the last time you play in the biggest game the sport has to offer, it could be the last time the people who care about you most in your life get to see you on the world's biggest stage.

Spend the money and call your agent to land you another commercial. You've made it clear you'll jump in front of a camera to promote things. If your agent can't deliver, I can assure you that your girlfriend can pull a few strings and get a few streams of cash flowing in your direction.

It's only money, you can always make more.
