Tiger Woods Suffers Worst Masters Stretch Ever And Fans Want Him To Wave The White Flag

You know what they say? It ain't a Masters moving day until Tiger Woods starts to wince in pain somewhere in the middle of the first 9.

Relax. It's a joke. Sort of. Unfortunately, though, it's not nearly the joke it used to be.

After a birdie on 5, Tiger Woods collapsed in historic fashion over the final four holes of his front-9 Saturday at Augusta, shooting a 42 – his highest score in 99 rounds at Augusta National.

Read that again … Tiger Woods just shot his highest score in 99 career rounds at The Masters. I mean, good God. What a stat.

What a freaking collapse. The wheels came off so fast, my head was spinning. He hit this below birdie at 5 after a bad bogey at 4. After that, you thought, ‘OK, he’s back. We're rolling.'

And then …

Bogey, double, double, bogey. 42. Stunning.

Tiger Woods fans in shambles, and that includes this one

Just sad. As a golf fan – and a Tiger Woods fan – it was tough to watch. And it happened so quickly, you almost didn't even have time to react.

Thursday and Friday, Tiger was locked in. Decent amount of scrambling yesterday, but it was all manageable. But those last four holes today on the front? Disaster.

I'm talking trees, pinestraw, completely different fairways – the whole nine yards. It was a disaster. Because Augusta doesn't allow phones on the course, and the actual broadcast hasn't started yet (dumb), I don't have a ton of video for you. Just trust me on this one. It was painful.

And, in classic Tiger Woods fashion, it started to look painful … right around the same time the wheels started to come off. Coincidence? The haters will raise an eyebrow. Tiger, of course, will probably talk about it after the round – assuming he finishes it.

All in all, a disastrous few minutes of golf for the 5-time Masters champ. The GOAT. The legend.

Social media called for Tiger to … call it a day. Maybe a career. Just sad.
