Shedeur Sanders Released His First Song And He's Lucky He's Good At Football

Colorado Buffaloes quarterback and son of the coach, Shedeur Sanders, has a lot on his plate these days as his team attempts to win more than four games this season as it returns, to the Big 12, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have the time to hop in the studio and lay down some rhymes.

Sanders dropped his debut single, "Perfect Timing," and hey, maybe it's great. who knows?

Fortunately, the folks at On3 shared a clip of the song — which is probably about as much as you need to hear to make up your mind — so let's take a listen, shall we?

Ooh… okay…

So, how do I put this more like Randy Jackson and less like Simon Cowell? I guess, I'd say that this isn't song of the summer material, dawg.

My girlfriend was putting together a playlist for our vacation this summer and I don't think I'll be uttering the words, "Hey, put that Shedeur Sanders on the playlist" anytime soon.

But hey, maybe it's not my cup of tea. Some people like autotuned sonic turds. What's the sentiment online? Perhaps, it's incredibly popular.

Alright, so the internet isn't particularly big on it either. I guess it wasn't just me.

That sounds like a billion other songs where some dude Logic or Pro Tools spent about forty seconds cooking up a generic beat for someone to kind of sing, kind of rap over.

It's not the worst song I've ever heard… but I'm not exactly sure how I want to finish that sentence.

But hey, you've got to hand it to Shedeur. It takes a lot of guts to create something and put it out there… especially when you have no discernible musical abilities.

Lucky for Shedeur, the rap game is not his calling and he'll need to stay focused on the Buffaloes' upcoming season, which will be his last opportunity to increase his draft stock.
