Saints WR Michael Thomas Lashes Out At NOLA Journalist: You A 'H*e'

Longtime Saints wideout Michael Thomas lashed out at a New Orleans journalist, on X, after the latter's reporting stated that the Saints are set to release Thomas for salary cap purposes.

Thomas went on an online rant against The Times-Picayune columnist Jeff Duncan and then defended his own sanity after going off on Duncan for petty reasons.

Duncan reported that the Saints would release Thomas ahead of the new league year; Thomas answered back saying he was on a one-year deal.

"Jeff Duncan funny how they planning on releasing me if I was on a 1 year deal," Mike Thomas posted. "Don’t fall for it he the same dude that tried to be my friend in season after saying I wasn’t the same player in training camp."

Thomas continued with his tirade, alluding to Duncan as a "h*e" and a "clown."

Thomas even took a jab at the Saints, saying they're leaking information to get a discount on bringing him back. The delusion is real.

"Jeff Duncan is a h*e," the deranged wideout said. "Trying to stay relevant so let’s speak on it. The Saints leak information to him to try to ruin players value but see I’m not broke so I can speak on it. He is broke so he need clicks. Go look at all his articles that never end up being true."

"They gone call you crazy, but it’s ok to not take no disrespect," Thomas, 31, added.

If you can't put up stats on the field, why not be a locker room guy instead? His heydays may be behind him, but Thomas is still yapping like a WR1.

"Look at this clown; y’all think he know ball yeah right. Y’all really clicking links to what he write. #goodluck."

The three-time Pro Bowler hasn't been a valuable asset for the Saints for more than four seasons, so Thomas understandably opted to use fighting words rather than letting his stats do the talking.

When he did pull up the stats, Thomas alluded to his halcyon days from 2019, which felt like a man in his 40s flaunting a photo of himself from college … all kinds of wrong.

"Until y’all go catch 149 in 16 games more 15 but I will give you 16. Holla at me GREAT IS GREAT," Thomas said, reminiscing on the good days.

#Goodluck landing on a team, bud.
