Dashcam Shows Major Crash Linked To Chiefs WR Rashee Rice

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice is wanted for his alleged involvement in a crash outside of Dallas, Texas, that took place on Saturday evening.

Authorities say that a car suspected to be owned or leased by Rice was involved in a car wreck at around 6:20 p.m. on Saturday. Allegedly, a Chevrolet Corvette and a Lamborghini were speeding in the left lane near the 6600 block of the North Central Speedway in Dallas, and then the cars lost control

A total of six cars were involved in the crash, and the driver of the Chevrolet did not stop after making contact. Four people were treated for minor injuries - two at the site of the crash, and two in a local hospital.

Here’s dashcam footage of the crash obtained from local news outlet WFAA.

While it’s unclear exactly if Rice was directly involved, he was listed as the primary suspect to be the driver of the Chevrolet, according to a police sheet obtained by The Dallas Morning News.

Rice was a member of the Chiefs’ Super Bowl LVIII-winning team, and set an NFL record for most receptions in a playoff run by a rookie (26). He grew up in North Richland Hills, Texas, and attended Southern Methodist University, which is outside of Dallas.
