Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce Will Open Kansas City Steakhouse In 2025 And It Looks Fantastic

Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce have been one of the most productive offensive duos in the NFL for years. Now they’re going to see if they’ll be as successful in the restaurant business.

The duo announced they are opening a steakhouse named 1587 Prime (an ode to their individual uniform numbers) in partnership with global hospitality group Noble 33. This isn’t just going to look like your average Longhorn or Outback location either, Mahomes and Kelce went all out in making this into an ultra-bougie location.

1587 Prime will boast 10,000 square feet of space over two floors, and the first location will open within Loews hotel in Kansas City, MO, early next year.

"The modern American steakhouse… will bring a brand new, immersive, and upscale dining experience to Kansas City," Noble 33 said in an Instagram post.

Based on these pictures, I’d say calling this place "upscale" is an understatement. If someone invited me to go to this place, I wouldn't be able to clear my schedule fast enough.

Mahomes And Kelce Helped Create A Fantastic Menu

The menu figures to be as jaw-dropping as the interior design. Not only will customers have access to the delicious main courses (which will all give nods to the players’ career accomplishments), they will be able to order from one of the largest wine collections in the state of Missouri.

Steak AND fancy wine in the same meal? My mouth is watering.

"Travis and I have become frequent visitors of Noble 33 restaurants in other cities, so it only made sense to bring something special to our own community in Kansas City," Mahomes said in a press release.

The only drawback of all this is that everything in that place has to cost an arm and a leg. You don't just fund a place like that by giving out Tuesday night buy-one-get-one specials.

Then again, it doesn’t open until 2025. If I start saving up now, I might just be able to afford a table.
