Oregon Football Tickets Sales Explode Ahead Of Joining Big Ten: REPORT

Oregon appears to be experiencing a Big Ten boost before officially joining the conference.

The Ducks, Washington, UCLA and USC are joining the B1G this summer, and the move will result in a windfall of money unlike anything seen before in college football.

From a financial perspective, the Big Ten is out ahead of the rest of America by a significant margin. Will that translate to national titles? Time will tell, but the conference is going to be absolutely stacked once the move becomes official.

Fans in Oregon apparently are wasting no time before getting in on the hype.

Oregon Ducks sell massive amount of new football tickets.

Just how excited are Oregon fans for a new era of college football? John Canzano reported Wednesday that the program has received more than 5,100 deposits for new season-ticket holders ahead of sales officially starting March 4th.

The Ducks are getting a nice Big Ten boost before playing a single snap of B1G football. Let me know your thoughts on that at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.

Oregon already has an incredibly committed and passionate fans. It's one of the best fanbases in America, and the team is expected to win at a high level every single season.

However, the landscape is changing in an unprecedented way this summer. Gone is the PAC-12. It's been swiped into the dustbin of history with just Washington State and Oregon State remaining.

The conference's sacrifice isn't for anything. It's built a super conference unlike anything sports has seen before. The Big Ten now has teams on both coasts of the country, several national title contenders.

Oregon football fans are about to experience football in a way football has never been experienced before by them. Clearly, they're excited, and that's resulted in tickets flying off the (nonexistent) shelves.

Now, can Oregon play at a high level in a new conference that's stacked top to bottom? That's an entirely new question, but fans are clearly excited to find out. I'm right there with them. As a Wisconsin man, I can't wait to see how this all unfolds. Let me know what you think at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
