Good Guy Novak Djokovic Welcomes Hundreds Of Students Onto Court After Surprise Practice At UCLA

Novak Djokovic held a surprise practice on the campus of UCLA on Wednesday, but the sessions didn't remain a secret for long as hundreds of students took to the stands to watch one of the greatest to ever do it get in some work.

There is a joke to be made about Djokovic sneaking onto the Los Angeles campus without being vaccinated, but we won't mention that, this is about tennis.

Djokovic is ramping up his preparation for next week's Indian Wells Masters but isn't taking himself too seriously in the lead-up given his surprise arrival at the Bruins' facility.

While The Joker's hitting partner forced him to put in a quality session, he was sure to put on a show for the students (and presumed faculty) who decided to watch him hit some shots.

The 36-year-old pulled off a wicked behind-the-back shot that was perfectly placed on the court. You could literally hear the crowd in awe after Djokovic pulled off the shot and celebrated accordingly with a huge smile across his face.

While everyone in attendance will remember Djokovic's behind-the-back shot, the truly memorable moment came after he ended his session and welcomed what looked to be a crowd of well over 100 people onto the court.

It's safe to say Djokovic posed for plenty of selfies and signed several random objects handed over to him in the crowd of people.

That false narrative certain people have been trying to surround Djokovic with as some evil, selfish person is officially in shambles.

While it probably wouldn't be the most productive thing in the world to hold a few more practice sessions on campus ahead of next week's tournament, seeing more of this from the game's top stars would certainly be a welcomed sight.
