Niners' Trent Williams Sued After His Nine Dogs Destroyed Mansion With Feces, Rotten Food

San Francisco 49ers left tackle Trent Williams allegedly left one hell of a mess at an $8 million mansion he rented in 2022.

Now, Williams is engaged in a legal battle after he and his nine dogs reportedly wreaked havoc at the Northern California mansion.

Prompting another question … are nine dogs too many to own under one roof? The answer is unquestionably yes, but where do we draw the line for ‘too many dogs' … three? After all, the average American, dog-owning household possesses 1.6 dogs. (Where does one buy 3/5ths of a dog?)

Williams — recognized as a top-3 player at his position — is being sued by his former landlord, Amir Rosenbaum, after the 35-year-old NFL vet allegedly left bags of dog feces and rotting dog food lying around the mansion during his stay. He reportedly stayed at the Santa Clara mansion after his former team, the Redskins, traded him to the 49ers after a decade-long run in Washington.

The disgruntled landlord demands close to $400K in damages from the 11-time Pro Bowler in the lawsuit, according to the Daily Mail

Rosenbaum sued Williams, asking for $340,000 in damages, compounded with an additional $50,000 in interest fees.

Despite the massive legal battle awaiting Williams, the 14-year veteran focuses solely on his first Super Bowl appearance.

Williams did not play with the Niners when they made their trip to the Super Bowl in 2020. After losing to the Kansas City Chiefs that year, San Francisco wanted to make a splash trade and elevate their prospects of returning to the big stage.

The Niners now face an opportunity to make right on their failed 2020 Super Bowl with an upcoming rematch against KC.

Trent Williams commented on his first SB game during this week's media availability sessions in Las Vegas, ahead of the Big Game, hosted at Allegiant Stadium this weekend.

"You work to get here. It’s incredibly disheartening when you don’t feel like you have a chance to be here," Williams commented. "For the first 10 years of my career, this seemed like it would be out of reach. The way these last four years went for me, I’m super grateful."
