Nick Saban Gives Awesome Answer When Asked If He'll Pick Against Alabama On GameDay

Don't expect Nick Saban to ever pick against Alabama on College GameDay.

The former Alabama coach joined the ESPN show following his retirement from the Crimson Tide. It seemed like the most natural move for Saban, and I'm sure he's getting paid a bank vault for his services.

As college football fans know, one of the most important parts of the show is when it comes time to pick winners and losers.

Would the man responsible for bringing six national titles to Tuscaloosa ever pick against the Tide? Don't bet on it.

Nick Saban hints he won't pick against Alabama on GameDay.

Saban was asked point blank if he'll pick against the team he returned to being a national power, and his answer was awesome.

"You know, I’ve tried to steer away from picking people. I think I’m going to have to do that now. But I don’t know that you always have to pick the team that you think is going to win. You know, you’re allowed to have a spiritual feeling about who you like and who you want to win. So, I think it will be a lot of fun though," Saban responded with a massive grin on his face.

You can watch his full comments in the video below, and definitely send me your thoughts to David.Hookstead@outkick.com.

That smile really says it all. Nick Saban could barely contain himself when responding whether or not he'll ever pick against the Crimson Tide.

The answer is no, and he's not going to pretend that's not the case. Are you surprised? You definitely shouldn't be.

Nick Saban is an Alabama man, and he's 100% loyal to the Crimson Tide. He might not be coaching in Tuscaloosa anymore, but I think we all know the invisible hand will remain powerful when it comes to his influence on the program.

Why would he pick against the Tide? Sometimes, you have to ride with your people, even if it's not realistic. Hell, I do that all the time with Wisconsin.

Props to Saban for not yielding an inch when it comes to who he supports. Picking with your heart over your head is simply more fun! Let me know at David.Hookstead@outkick.com how you think Saban will do on GameDay. I'm definitely expecting a hell of a performance.
