Raiders DE Hit Person With Vehicle Ahead Of Drunken Arrest In Vegas

One Raiders player could face serious consequences stemming from a suspected DUI case in Las Vegas last week. Raiders defensive end Janarius Robinson was arrested in Las Vegas last week after driving intoxicated in a casino valet area.

New details on Monday revealed that Robinson's drunken incident also involved hitting and pinning a woman against another vehicle as he tried driving off the Aria valet parking space at 5:45 a.m. that Tuesday morning (Feb. 6). Police reported that the unidentified woman "became pinned between two cars." Robinson was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Police arrived at the Aria Resort & Casino at 7 a.m. Robinson told authorities he stopped drinking seven hours before getting behind the wheel of his vehicle and hitting the woman.

The incident occurred days before the Super Bowl, hosted at Allegiant Stadium.

The extent of the woman's injuries was not provided. She vacated the scene before the police arrived.

CBS8 reporter David Charns relayed Robinson's photo from his booking.

Robinson, a former fourth-round pick, has been with the Las Vegas Raiders since Aug. 2023. He played eight games for the Raiders last season, adding a sack and eight total tackles. The Minnesota Vikings drafted Robinson in 2021 out of FSU. He landed on the Philadelphia Eagles' practice squad for a year before joining Las Vegas. The Raiders released a statement acknowledging Robinson's arrest hours later.

"The Raiders are aware of an incident involving Janarius Robinson last night. The club is in the process of gathering more information," read the Raiders' statement.
