Mike Florio Can't Wrap His Mind Around How Streakers Got Into The Super Bowl, Gets Roasted On Social Media

Mike Florio almost made it through Super Bowl Sunday without saying or writing anything stupid. Almost.

I tip my cap with respect to Florio for writing 13 Super Bowl-related stories during the big game on Sunday. All 13 had little to no sustenance whatsoever and a combined shelf life on the Internet of about seven minutes, but I can't knock a fellow content man for churning out the content. I can and will, however, call someone in the content game out who makes a fool of themselves over an absurd statement.

Florio fits that billing more often than not, and he lived up to the expectation on Sunday when a little skin was shown on the field.

There was a break during the Chiefs' comeback win over the 49ers in Las Vegas when a couple of men ran onto the field and ripped off their shirts. Streakers are a common occurrence at the Super Bowl, they're literally expected in this day in age, but Mr. Media Vet Florio could not believe what he was seeing.

Florio seems to think that the Super Bowl is the most secure event in the world. Not the most secure sporting event, but the most secure event on the face of the planet. He could not come to grips with two people inside the stadium jumping over the wall and running onto the field.

Florio was so distraught over what his precious eyes saw he wrote a whopping 121 words on the two shirtless men who he may or may not believe deserve life sentences on Rikers.

The wording of his tweet is just so over-the-top bizarre, even for him. It's like he's calling for the NFL to build a wall around the field, but walls don't mix with the political crowd Florio runs with, he can't go that far.

Thankfully, there are still people with common sense and they got after Florio in his replies with a vengeance:
