Michigan Had Humiliating Crowd During Loss To Purdue: VIDEO

Michigan basketball turning into a dumpster fire was on display during a Sunday loss to Purdue.

The Wolverines lost 84-76 to the Boilermakers, and the crowd at the Crisler Center tells you everything you need to know about the state of Michigan basketball under Juwan Howard.

The crowd looked and sounded more like a home game for Purdue than it did for the Wolverines as the team fell to 8-20.

That's not an exaggeration at all. Check out the crowd reaction to Purdue hitting a three. The Crisler Center erupted. Not a good look at all. Let me know at David.Hookstead@outkick.com if you agree.

Michigan had a horrible crowd for loss to Purdue.

It's really shocking just how far Michigan has fallen in recent years. There was a time when the Wolverines were viewed as a national power.

Now, Michigan has just eight wins on the year as February winds down. Not only are the Wolverines awful, but fans can't even be bothered to show up.

Check out the background in the photos below. The amount of Purdue fans compared to Michigan fans at the Crisler Center is a complete joke.

I think it's safe to say Michigan fans have thrown in the towel on the Wolverines. It's not simply just a bad situation. The train is officially off the tracks.

Juwan Howard and company are an abysmal 8-20 and in last place in the Big Ten. Having a bad year happens, but the fans are fleeing the program like it's a sinking ship.

There's never a reason for an opposing team to take over a venue like Purdue did Sunday. Something has to be done to fix the program. What will it be? A look at the head coach is probably a good place to start. Let me know what you think at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
