March Madness Star Jack Gohlke Shoots NIL Commercial From Hotel Lobby, And It's Perfect

Guess who plays basketball again today? Oakland STUD Jack Gohlke, who became an overnight star Thursday after he put on one of the greatest shooting displays of all time in a win over Kentucky.

Now, back in the old days, these March Madness stars would have to wait weeks to really reap the rewards. Hell, they never really used to be able to reap them at all, because it was illegal.

But now, buddy, we live in the NIL era AND the social media era. That means your content will be rewarded handsomely, and almost instantly.

Jack Gohlke became an Instagram star after his big showing Thursday. OutKick wrote about that yesterday.

But he didn't stop there. No sir, he didn't stop there:

Jack Gohlke is a big Turbo Tax fan

I mean, it's just perfect. Incredible display of content from Jack, Oakland, the hotel lobby, and the Turbo Tax marketing folks.

Team effort from start to finish, and they all nailed it. You HAVE to strike when the iron's hot, and Turbo Tax didn't waste one single second.

You have less than a month to file, folks, and Jack Gohlke is here to help any last-minute procrastinators.

And by the way, that used to 100% be me until I married a wife with a CPA sister. Score. That's neither here nor there, though.

Anyway, this is just perfect. The simplicity of the commercial, the timeliness, the delivery from Jack Gohlke – it's a home run.

Could Turbo Tax have used game footage of Jack draining a billion threes the other night? Sure.

But they chose to have a grown man dribble a basketball in the lobby of a Marriott Bonvoy and speak into what I assume is an iPhone camera about tax returns.

And that is how you play the social media game, folks. Well done.

Give 'em hell today, Jack!
