Logan Paul Says He'd Fight Brother Jake In Mike Tyson's Stead If Necessary
The highly anticipated boxing match between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson isn’t officially over, but the chances of it happening have taken a massive hit.
Yesterday, news broke that Tyson’s doctors recommended that he dial back the intensity on his training regimen after he had an ulcer flar-eup earlier this week. Again the fight still has a chance of happening (the new date for the fight will be announced on June 7). But with Tyson being 57 years old and showing a risk for medical problems even before fighting, it’s less of a given that this bout will take place.
Jake’s older brother, Logan, has seen all of this and come up with a pretty clever contingent plan. If Tyson is unable to fight, Logan has offered to take his place.
Frankly, I’d love to see this happen. A battle of the brothers for ultimate family bragging rights for the rest of their lives, on top of a massive payday? Let’s go.
Jake, for one, seems interested in the fight, despite the fact that his mom may not like it. He even came up with perhaps the best reward for the winner should we get a battle of the Pauls.
"Mom doesn’t want me to KO you but f–k it," Jake replied on X. "Loser has to change their last name #PaulVsPaul."
Sign. Me. Up. This would be an epic bout. Sure, I’d prefer if Tyson could get in the ring to show off his skills. But the storyline here would be epic.
Logan (who is the current WWE champion in the United States) could get his first career boxing win against his bro. Jake could cement himself as the best YouTuber to become a boxer ever (not that there are many).
No matter what the main card is, the fans win. Let’s see what happens.
