Lane Kiffin Roasts Ole Miss Players Over Cringe Video

Lane Kiffin publicly shamed some of his own players in joking fashion over a very cringe social media video.

The Ole Miss football coach is known for being active on social media, and anyone who is being honest can admit he's pretty entertaining.

I don't care whether you cheer for Ole Miss or hate the Rebels, you simply can't deny that Kiffin knows how to move the needle on social media.

He's also willing to publicly call out his own guys, and that was on full display late Monday afternoon.

Ole Miss roasts Tre Harris and Jaxson Dart.

Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart and WR Tre Harris appeared in a bit of a weird video tweeted by the team declaring the two the "best returning QB-WR duo in college football."

Kiffin wasn't impressed, and responded with, "Please don’t ever do this again!!"

Kiffin further double down in response to a fan drawing a comparison to engagement videos. When Kiffin gets on a roll, he really gets on a roll.

It's stuff like this that really makes Kiffin stand out from other coaches. The man simply likes to have fun. You know who else likes to have fun? Those of us working here at OutKick.

I definitely respect his vibe. The world needs more humor, and that sometimes includes roasting your own guys. All Kiffin is doing is pointing out that cringe videos are never a good idea, and he's not wrong.

This isn't high school. It's major college football. Respect the stakes. That's all Kiffin is asking.

Fans might be in for a big season if this is the kind of energy Kiffin has and it's only February. Something tells me it's going to be a very entertaining 2024 campaign. Let me know what you think of Kiffin and his online presence at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
