Eagles Lineman Wants One Simple Item After Signing Massive Extension

Philadelphia Eagles lineman Landon Dickerson isn't a man of expensive tastes, despite being incredibly wealthy.

The former Alabama star turned NFL standout agreed to a giant extension Monday with the Eagles worth up to $87 million over four years.

The offensive lineman will receive a staggering $50 million guaranteed and a signing bonus of $20 million. His signing bonus alone is worth more than the average American earns in five lifetimes.

Yet, it doesn't sound like he's interested in splurging.

Landon Dickerson wants one item after extension worth up to $87 million.

Does Dickerson plan on spending a bunch of money on a new house? Perhaps a super fancy vacation? A bunch of trucks and cars?

Nope. He's a practical man who appears to appreciate elite lawn care. He revealed Tuesday that the one thing he's interested in scoring is a new lawn mower.

With $50 million guaranteed coming his way, finding a zero turn mower shouldn't be too hard. Check out the lighthearted moment below, and let me know what you think at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.

It seems like Landon Dickerson is a man after Joe Kinsey's heart and has a similar mindset when it comes to making sure his lawn is pristine. OutKick might have to extend Landon an invitation to our legendary Thursday Night Mowing League.

The dude has enough money to buy just about anything he wants, and instead of splurging like so many people do, he just wants to be efficient.

There's nothing that screams new money more than blowing through your first big deal. It happens all the time. It's not going to happen with Landon Dickerson.

It's hard to go broke if you're on an $87 million deal with $50 million guaranteed and your big splashy purchase is a zero-turn lawn mower. You can get one of those for less than $1,000.

You always want to see a guy be smart with his money, and that's exactly what Landon Dickerson is. Props to him for being a fiscally smart dude. Let me know what you'd buy if you were in his shoes at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
