Rams Set Up Swanky NFL Draft War Room In Hermosa Beach

You can't get a view like this anywhere.

The Los Angeles Rams won't be going to their home facilities in Inglewood, Calif., to submit their pick(s) for Thursday's Day 1 of the NFL Draft.

Instead, Rams personnel will shack up in Hermosa Beach — located in Los Angeles County's South Bay community — to make their draft picks from the comfort of an elegant beach house located a few blocks away from the gorgeous Hermosa Beach pier.

L.A.'s "Draft House" is a "$16.5 million Hermosa Beach mansion converted into a draft war room." The space is estimated at 9,150 sq ft. According to Front Office Sports, the mansion will feature a game room, lounge, pool and perfect view of the Pacific Ocean.

The Rams are rolling out the green carpet (we'll get to that in a minute) and maximizing the NFL Draft — a borderline holiday for football fanatics. Hermosa Beach Pier was adorned with Rams signage, and the Rams also set up a ridiculous 60-yard stretch of turf on the Hermosa Beach sand.

Wanting to check out the action, this OutKick writer sauntered to Hermosa Beach to check out all the hype.

The Rams displays were neat, but my mind was on some Paisano's Pizza nearby (I resisted the urge).

Check it out:

The Hermosa Beach Unified School District partnered with the Rams to host a weekend-long event for South Bay community members. The community is rallying around the hype for the Rams' pick on Thursday, slated for 19th overall in the first round, coming off several years when they held no first-round picks.

Talks around the Rams' first-round plans are getting as juicy as rumors floating that L.A. may look to trade into the top 10. Part of those rumors suggest the Rams have zeroed in on a prospect. Chicago's second pick in the top 10 (No. 1; No. 9) could be up for grabs.
