Knicks Josh Hart Trolls Reggie Miller As Garden Crowd Chants 'F--k You Reggie'

Reggie Miller is still a fan favorite at Madison Square Garden.

And by that we of course mean that New York fans relentlessly trolled the Pacers great as the Knicks rallied to beat Indiana and take a 2-0 in their best-of-seven second round series.

As time was winding down in the 4th quarter, a loud "F--k You Reggie" chant filled the World's Most Famous Arena, as the Knicks' arch-nemesis and Pacers Hall of Famer Miller sat in the front row at the announcer's table calling the game for TNT.

MSG Crowd Chants "F--K You Reggie"

There's been no love loss in the roughly 30 years since Miller's Pacers and the Knicks seemed to meet almost every year in the postseason. You all know the stories - Spike Lee, John Starks, Patrick Ewing, Reggie dropping 8 points in 9 seconds, and more. Just pure madness. It was essentially the basketball equivalent of the New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox.

Still, to this day, as a Knicks fan, I despise Reggie Miller.

And the thing with New Yorkers is, we don't forget. We're a-holes, which is why Frank Sinatra's "if I can make it here, I can make it anywhere," lyric is so poetically true because the average person can't.

So when TNT decided to have Miller work last night's game, the scene was ripe for something spectacular to happen.  Miller, doing his part, told the Knicks fans that he "owns this city, owns this building [the Garden.]" At one point he even called himself the Knicks' "boogeyman."

Knicks Josh Hart Rips Reggie To His Face

Well, the boogeyman got his. As time was winding down in the fourth quarter and with the Knicks pulling away, New York forward Josh Hart made sure Miller understood what the Garden faithful were chanting.  He ran over to the annoucer's table, up to Miller and told him, "I don't know if you heard, but I think they said, F**k you." Miller and everyone watching the broadcast got to hear it.

KNICKS PLAYERS MAKE HISTORY

There's no doubt that the Knicks have electrified New York City. The two teams will now head to Indiana to face the Pacers Friday night in the best-of-seven Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Spike Lee's expected to be there. So is Reggie Miller.

And so is Josh Hart.

Let's go.
