Kirk Herbstreit Drops Significant New College Football Video Game Details

More details about "College Football 25" have dropped.

The first college football video game from EA Sports will hit shelves this summer, and hype is through the roof. Fans can't wait to get back to building dynasties and winning national titles.

People have also been searching for clues and details about the new game like the CIA hunts for terrorists. Every single minor detail is scrutinized. That's what happens when people are obsessed, and I'm all about it.

Well, buckle up because some more new details are on the way.

Kirk Herbstreit pulls back the curtain on "College Football 25."

Kirk Herbstreit was on Pat McAfee's show Monday, and briefly discussed his return to the world of college football video games.

Whether he meant to or not, he dropped a very interesting comment about what fans can expect. Unlike previous games where the broadcasting teams would be the same, it sounds like that won't be the case with "College Football 25."

Herbstreit revealed the broadcast teams will change depending on the game, and appeared to imply the stakes of the game would dictate the team on the call. If that's the case, then it's an awesome development.

He also appeared to confirm my report that the game will drop in July. Check out his comments below, and hit me with your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.

Fans can't wait for "College Football 25."

Like I said above, if games really have different broadcast teams, then it's going to be one of the coolest developments possible.

It's clear EA Sports is going all out for this game, and for good reason. The reputation of the company is riding on "College Football 25" meeting expectations.

Fans are desperate, and for good reason. The old "NCAA Football" series was unbelievably fun. I'd take the worst team possible and build powerhouse after powerhouse. Then, the games were ripped away from us after the last one was released in 2013.

Now, the game is returning this summer, and I'm literally buying a PS5 just to play it. Apologies to my girlfriend. She might not see me for a long time once the game drops. I have titles to win. It's a mindset guys everywhere understand. Let me know your thoughts on the upcoming game at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
