Viral Tweet Shows The Different World Kalen DeBoer Is In At Alabama Compared To Washington

One tweet tells fans everything they need to know about the world Kalen DeBoer is in at Alabama.

The Crimson Tide hired DeBoer to replace Nick Saban following the latter's retirement. He was a very solid hire after an incredible run at Washington that concluded with a loss in the national title game this past season.

Now, will he be successful in Tuscaloosa? Time will tell, but fans are very excited to see what he can do. That was on full display over the weekend for the program's spring game.

One tweet perfectly captures just how much more energy is around Alabama compared to Washington.

Kalen DeBoer's spring game attendance at Alabama is a huge upgrade over Washington.

Chase Goodbread tweeted a photo of Washington's spring game last year with DeBoer as coach compared to this season. It's not even comparable.

Barely anyone showed up for the Huskies and Bryant-Denny Stadium was packed to support the Crimson Tide.

There's no question Kalen DeBoer is in a very different world in Tuscaloosa than he was in Seattle. The Huskies certainly have some passionate supporters, but it's just not the same as Alabama football.

Not even close. College football at true blue-blood program is treated like a religion, and Alabama fans are near the top of the list of most passionate fans.

Nobody seemed to care about Washington's spring game last year. That will never happen in Tuscaloosa, and it's a blunt reminder of the expectations Kalen DeBoer faces. Nick Saban won six national titles with the Tide.

Fair or not, fans expect to compete for a national title every single season.

Can DeBoer get the job done? Fans will find out soon enough, but right now, energy and hype around the team is off the charts.
