Social Media Torches Kentucky And John Calipari After Oakland Loss: REACTIONS

John Calipari and Kentucky players might want to stay off the internet for a few days.

Oakland stunned the Wildcats 80-76 Thursday night in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament, and it was another disappointing postseason for Calipari's program.

Kentucky has just one NCAA Tournament win over the past five seasons. A program that used to regularly compete for national titles now struggles to be relevant in the tournament.

John Calipari and Kentucky roasted after losing to Oakland.

Kentucky is one of the true villains in college basketball. Fans have no problem coming together to cheer against the Wildcats or pop bottles to celebrate UK being humiliated.

That's exactly what happened Thursday. Social media was *ON FIRE* with reactions after Calipari and the Wildcats were bounced.

Check out some of the best reactions below, and hit me with your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.

The outrage was so bad that the team's Rivals website crashed because so many fans were flooding there to probably say some not so nice things about John Calipari.

One of the best parts of March Madness is seeing massive upsets and in the social media era, that means absolutely epic reactions.

Fans are either heartbroken or dancing on a grave. There was a hell of a lot more dancing on Kentucky's grave Thursday night than there were tears.

Should Kentucky make a coaching change? Let me know your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
