Jim Harbaugh's Comments On Living In An RV Are Very On-Brand

Jim Harbaugh sounds just like everyone's retired dad when it comes to his thoughts on living in an RV.

The former Michigan coach floated the possibility of living in an RV after taking the Chargers job while waiting for the dust to settle. Well, that's exactly what he's doing, and it sounds like he couldn't be happier.

"It’s been great. Just being myself. I always wanted to do that (and live in an RV). It worked out great. I’m 100 feet from Greg Roman, who has a really, really good RV," Harbaugh told MLive.com about living the RV lifestyle.

"In the RV world. I’m not as fancy. My Ford Motorcoach hits me just right. It’s been awesome. Yeah, it’s been really good. I go back there, it’s a good time to think. It’s just been great," Harbaugh added when admitting Roman's RV is more impressive than his own.

Yet, he definitely sounds very content with what he has.

Jim Harbaugh is living in an RV.

The Los Angeles Chargers coach being a fan of living in an RV might be the least surprising development we've seen with him. Hell, I'd be surprised if he *DIDN'T* like living in an RV.

The RV lifestyle is all about efficiency. There's limited space and resources. That mandates you cut off all the fat on the bone. You have to be organized, on top of your game and constantly making sure everything is in order. If that doesn't sum up Jim Harbaugh's mindset, I don't know what does.

It also gives you plenty of time to be alone with your own thoughts. I can only imagine what Jim Harbaugh's inner dialogue must be like. I bet it's epic.

Scratch that. I know that it's epic.

I'm also a fan of RVs. I don't own one because my blue-collar lifestyle doesn't allow it, but I did go on a camping trip with one about 11 years ago with my college roommates and some significant others. I'm not sure I even want to know how much beer was consumed on that trip, but it was awesome. Sounds like Harbaugh is having just as much fun in his own unique way.
