Jacksonville Jaguars Make Quarterback Signing
The Jacksonville Jaguars have added another quarterback to the team's roster.
Former Brown and Boston College quarterback EJ Perry has agreed to a one-year deal with the team. He was previously with the team this offseason before struggling with a hamstring injury.
Obviously, Perry isn't going to push Lawrence for the starting job in Jacksonville, but he's a very interesting rookie quarterback prospect.
In his two starting seasons at Brown, he threw for 45 touchdowns and rushed for another 15.
Granted, Ivy League football is in the FCS and it's a bit of a joke. It's not even close to the same competition you'd see in FBS, it's still college football, and he put up some big stats with his athleticism.
Now, he's getting another crack at the NFL with the Jaguars after already briefly being with the team before getting hurt.
He's probably a long shot to stick around, but there's no doubt he's an interesting QB given his ability to run and the evolving nature of the position.
We'll see how he does! At the very least, he could be entertaining in preseason!
