Indiana Senate Candidate: Lebron-Bronny Could Take Talents To China

An Indiana Senate candidate made a bold prediction on the campaign trail Friday afternoon.

U.S. Rep. Jim Banks (R.), who is in the race to fill the Indiana Senate seat left open by U.S. Senator Mike Braun, took a break from politics to react to the news of Bronny James entering the NBA Draft and what that means for LeBron's plans to team up with his kid in the NBA.

After a lackluster season playing for USC, Rep. Banks believes there's just one option for the James family – playing a season in China to satisfy their biggest supporters, the Chinese government. Keep in mind, Bron Bron turns 40 in December. Those legs aren't going to hold up much longer and Bronny's game sure isn't getting much better (4.8 ppg, 2.8 reb and 36.6% from the field).

"Unless they move to LeBron's beloved China, they aren't playing together in the NBA," Banks predicted.

Of course, the libs lose their minds the minute anyone, especially a Republican politician, mentions LeBron and China. This case was no different. The LGBTQ+++BLMs hopped right into the fray.

While it's not typically wise for some politicians, like Kamala Harris trying to explain the women's NCAA tournament bracket history, to dip their toes into the sports world, Banks seems to be onto something here. This China theory might not be as far-fetched as the blue-haired libs think.

In 2019, when he returned from China, James, who is reportedly sitting on a $1 billion lifetime contract with Nike, couldn't wait to lecture then-Rockets General Manager Daryl Morey for a tweet supporting Hong Kong protesters, which led to LeBron's infamous quote about how he believed Morey, "wasn't educated on the situation at hand."

As if that wasn't pro-China enough, James wasn't done.

"Yes, we all do have freedom of speech, but at times there are ramifications for the negative that can happen when you're not thinking about others and you're only thinking about yourself," James told reporters.

"I don't want to get into a word or sentence feud with Daryl, with Daryl Morey, but I believe he wasn't educated on the situation at hand and he spoke," James continued, while adding that "so many people could have been harmed, not only financially but physically, emotionally, spiritually."

LeChina had spoken. His loyalties weren't with the United States or freedom in Hong Kong.

Bronny James isn't good enough for the NBA, but daddy could pull some strings

As OutKick founder Clay Travis pointed out Friday when Bronny announced he's entering the NBA, "this is 100% LeBron trying to make a team take his son because of LeBron's (aging) talent. Yet no one will flat out say this."

Bron Bron is in a tough spot. The career is coming to a close, he's starting to think about his legacy and playing together with his namesake is clearly critical to capping off his career. Just think of the emotional Nike videos that would be produced over dad using nepotism to get his son out on an NBA fast-break.

Jeter never played with his son. Tom Brady never experienced such an emotional high. Michael Jordan's son never had a chance to play with his son, who went on to have sex five times a night with Scottie Pippen's ex-wife, Larisa Pippen.

Would LeBron and Bronny do numbers in China? They could just do this for two weeks and make millions. Waxing Chinese scubs for six to eight games on a Chinese tour seems like a dream scenario.
