Even though there hasn't been a grand-opening yet for the Hulk Hogan store in the popular tourist city located in East Tennessee, that did not stop the shop from opening its doors a few weeks ago as fans started to see the signage going up.
But now, the store has turned into a cathedral for the man who told youngsters to say their prayers and eat their vitamins.
As I was driving through the area Sunday afternoon, I couldn't help but notice a line of people streaming through the doors of what is now seemingly a museum for wrestling fans. If you were looking for an autographed item, the prices have soared since Hogan's passing. Now that there is a smaller number of items available with his signature, it will be interesting to see how much items will cost moving forward.
Right now, a signed bandanna will cost you $450, while pictures are priced at $650, and belts can reach as high as $3,000. It's an interesting dynamic, given that there is obviously a shortage of autographed items, as one fan pointed out that it reminded him of when Dale Earnhardt Sr. passed away following a wreck at Daytona.
