Former NFL CB Buster Skrine On The Run From Canadian Authorities
Former NFL cornerback Darryl ‘Buster’ Skrine missed a court date, stemming from bank fraud charges, and is now on the run from Canadian police.
Using his image as a former NFL player, Skrine, 35, allegedly cashed out on fraudulent checks, amassing more than $100,000 in stolen money. The Durham Regional Police Service announced that Skrine, on bail since April 24, missed his court date on Monday.
Skrine's ankle brace also went offline, prompting the Canadian authorities to ‘hunt down’ the alleged fraudster for violating his release order. According to the New York Post, police offered a $2,000 cash reward to anyone who helps locate Skrine.
